Pharmaceutical guidelines and professional standards

Instachem is owned and operated by qualified pharmacists and healthcare professionals with over 35 years of pharmacy experience. All medicines are dispensed from a registered pharmacy premises (1099376) under the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Registration with Instachem

 

Instachem reserves the right to block access to the site at any time for any reason Instachem deems appropriate.

When completing the registration process, you are confirming that all information provided is true, accurate and up to date to the best of your knowledge .

Any personal information and/or data which you provide to us will be held by us with the strictest confidence.

 

Passwords and usernames

The registration process allows you to chose your own username and password.

You are responsible for keeping your username and password secret and for making sure that they are not used by any one else.

Ordering your Prescriptions Online

 

Prescriptions for persons other than yourself.

 

When ordering a prescription online only the person registered with Instachem can complete the process. Prescriptions can not be ordered for somebody else. Only customers registered with Instachem can receive medication.

 

Age Limits

 

Only persons over the age of 18 may use our prescription ordering service. This is confirmed and declared by you during the registration process.

 

Order Agreement

Until Instachem physically receive your prescription there is no obligation on Instachem to actually process your order and Instachem have confirmed this order to you by email. Instachem has the right to refuse processing of any order.

 

Order Cancellation Procedure

Should you want to cancel a prescription order, please contact us immediately by telephone or email. Please do so before sending us the original prescription so that we can process your refund.

 

Prescription Checking Procedure

On receipt of customers prescriptions, all details will be cross-checked with information provided by customer via Instachem website and registration details. Our pharmacist may contact you or your GP regarding your prescription medication in order to ensure that correct medicine is being prescribed.

 

If customers are exempt from payment for NHS prescriptions and receive free medication. We may call you to confirm what has been stated in your order regarding exemption status.

 

 

Prescription Delivery

Prescriptions are normally dispatched to the customer on the day that the actual prescription is received. The items will be sent to the address used for registration purposes unless otherwise stated by the customer.

 

Customer Checking

When the customer receives there items they should be checked against there order to ensure that the correct items have been sent. No items should be used until this check has been completed. If there is wrong with the order, or if any of the packaging looks to be interfered with, Instachem should be called straightaway to rectify any errors.

Confirmation of your order will be sent to the email provided to Instachem in the customers registration process. All rights are reserved with regards to the limit of the number of items you may order.

 

Postage and packing costs may vary depending on the size and quantity of your order. We shall endeavour to minimise this cost as much as possible without compromising the efficiency of the delivery service used.

 

Substitute

If you have ordered a specific item, due to potential unavailability of the item, Instachem has the right to use an appropriate substitute in the order.


Policy on Returns


Your rights to Cancel

 

Customers reserve the right to cancel an order for anything bought from Instachem for up to seven working days after the order has been received by the customer. This does not apply to perishable goods such as medication.


Please follow ‘Returning Your Order’ below if you would like to receive a refund.


You have a legal responsibility to keep the items in reasonable condition and in your possession until they are returned to us. This includes keeping any hygiene seals in place.

 

It is the customers’ legal obligation to keep their order in a reasonable state and in their keep until the order is sent back to Instachem.

 

As soon as Instachem receives a notification from the customer, in writing, that they wish to either terminate their order and/or refund an order, Instachem will ensure that a full refund including p&p is given.


Items which are not to your expectation in terms of quality

 

If the customer receives anything from Instachem that is not of the quality expected and/or damaged, Instachem will either replace the item at no extra charge.

The absolute limit to the amount Instachem is liable, if an order is not completed, is the amount initially paid for the order.
